Our Mission
Calahe is a small online dog shop run out of western Sydney. We mostly sell three kinds of things - dog beds, dog stairs and car seats - and that's on purpose.
Most dogs sleep or doze for something like twelve hours a day, which is a lot of time on one bed. Old dogs with sore hips feel it. Little dogs feel it every time they launch themselves off the couch. We figured if we stuck to the stuff that helps with that, we could actually know our products properly instead of guessing.
Our Commitment
Before anything goes on the site, we go over it with a pretty fussy eye. Foam that's gone flat after a fortnight is no good to anyone, neither is a cover you can't get off to wash, or a mat that skates across the floorboards every time the dog steps on it. And it's Australia, so we think about heat too.
Basically if we wouldn't have it in our own lounge room it's not getting listed.
Our Promise
Free tracked shipping, anywhere in Australia, every order. 30 days to return something if you've changed your mind, and if it's faulty or damaged just email us and we'll fix it up.
Emails get answered by a person, within one business day Mon to Fri. If delivery's going to take two weeks we'd rather say so up front than let you find out later.
And the Australian Consumer Law always applies - we're not going to try and wriggle out of it.
What We Offer
For sleeping there's orthopedic memory foam beds (good for older or bigger dogs), bolster sofa beds for the ones who like a pillow, and cooling beds for the 40 degree nights.
For getting up and down there's foam stairs and steps, handy for small breeds, puppies and seniors.
For the car we've got seat covers, back-seat extenders and booster seats, mostly to keep the fur and mud where it belongs.
Not sure what size your dog needs? Send us their breed and weight and we'll point you to the right one.
